A little bit about me

I am a Romanian born, Antwerp based visual artist.

In love with beautiful imagery, that expresses emotion and a dramatic tension, I started out as a fashion stylist and then gradually went on to express my creativity through photography. This is how the Self[i]experiment project came to life - a collection of self-shot, black and white photography at the intersection of fashion and art, an introspection, a personal journey and my way of challenging the Selfie.

My photography portfolio has since evolved to include other projects, including experiments with A.I. generative fills.

A nomad at heart, I incorporate elements from my journeys, as well as inner explorations. My favorite places for introspection are in my black and white photography sessions and on an empty beach, as water is such a strong enabler of emotion and peace.

Apart from imagery, I am interested in infusing a creative approach to business, due to my education background. With a BBA in Design & Management from Parsons the New School in New York and a Masters in Fashion Styling from Polimoda in Florence, I balance artistic creativity and a creatively directional approach to business.

I have had various work experience throughout different areas of the fashion industry, from styling & events to branding and marketing, for companies such Donna Karan New York, Barneys New York, Elle Romania and lingerie brand  I.D. Sarrieri.
